One of challenge thing in my life
Reading and writing is hard thing for me but it depends on what am I reading about or what am I writing about. When I write about my experience or some events, it is easy to write because I know everything so I feel it is easy to organize so I like when I write about those things. Reading is same as writing, if the book or someone's real experience, I can understand usually but some fiction story is hard to understand because some events are unreal so I'm confusing often. I like to read book or story that about real story and like to write about my experience. Whatever I'm not good at reading fiction story.
First, I like to read Japanese book because it is my first language so I can understand really well. I really like to read about professional sports player's experience specially soccer, baseball, hockey and tennis because I'm playing hockey and I want to know how professional sports player grew up when they were young and those books taught me lots of thing. For example, how they practiced, how they became professional player, why their mental is strong. Those things help me to think about my bad thing which is I have to get better. I learned about how they live, I don't learn about skills. I think those books help or change my life because I read book and it was about Japanese professional tennis player. He wanted to become pro tennis player so he came to U.S when he was 12 years old. I read the book when I was 11 years old and I did same thing as the tennis player. I understood about his thought because Japan hasn't good tennis and he thought he have to leave if he wanted to become pro player. After I read the book, I came to U.S for become pro hockey player. This book's name is "Challenge" it is Japanese so I like this book in jeneral. Also I appreciated to the book because it changed my life.
I didn't like to read English book but recently I tried to read English books because I think my reading skills are getting better than before so I can read faster and can understand. Whatever, my English isn't perfect so I'm confusing about story sometimes and I don't understand what is happening in the book. My favorite book is The Absolutely True Dialy of a Part-Time Indian. I liked the book because it was about experiment of people and it has cartoons so if I don't understand about the story, I can look at the cartoons and I can understand. So cartoons are helping me to understand. English books are hard to read but I can enjoy it few time now because if there were some jokes I could laugh. Also I'm really happy that I can understand mostly about the story without dictionary because last year, I used dictionary so many times and took so much time to read. Whatever now, it doesn't take time as last year.
Writing is easier than reading for me because I can use my own words so I don't have to use difficult words. But I'm not good at writing too. My grammar is not good but also my organization is really bad because when I'm writing essay, I confuse many times about what should I write next. If I had time to look over my writing I can fix them but I always confuse about organization in class writing because I have to finish it in class so I have only 50-60 minutes to write, so I don't have time to look over. I don't like class writing but I have to practice them.
Recently, I like writing and reading because I'm getting better at English so I can enjoy both of them. Whatever I have to practice both specially writing. I'll try to practice organization and grammars. I'm learning grammar in other class so it is fine but I don't learn about organization so I have to practice my self or talk to teacher. If I could do those things really well I would like writing as reading. Reading is my favorite now, because I can understand and books are giving me lots of thing. I like to learn many things from book and it helps my life sometimes. My goal is getting better at English and can write great essay and can read as native speaker. I'll practice them and I will get closer to the goal.
